Bored bored bored, this place was far too boring for her opinion, the demon sat at a table in the busy bar her green eyes boring into the the baileys on ice that was resting on the old somewhat scratched table. she had her hair cropped short once again, her brown curls hanging just below her jaw. She'd been to hell again thanks to a hunter, and she'd just finished tearing that poor unfortunate soul apart, her tongue traced along her bottom lip at the the memory of the humans screams. she listened to the chattering of the various humans, not having much interest, this was the trouble when first returning. there was so much to do one had to take a step back and think logically, wait for a good target who would make her smile, maybe manipulate a sad sap of a man or woman. Perhaps she'd torture some innocents, pit mortal against mortal and laugh as they tore each other apart, oh the possibilities.... for now she would wait, and plot.

The man watched. He'd always watch. The hustle and bustle of humans as they sauntered, skipped, and ran past. Their eyes alight with the simplest of pleasures. Never did the thought to expand their horizons, cross their mortal minds. He felt pity of course, it must be so dull living day by day as it was. But then again, they lived only for a century. Him? Well, he'd lived for almost half-a millennium.

Well, probably anyway. He didn't keep count anymore.

A sigh crawled from the back of his throat and into the air as he leaned against the long bar. This wasn't his usual crowd, but it was his time of the year again.....

Wish-granting, of course!

What fun it was! And that one must never make a deal with a demon, another fable to be learned from. But he wasn't technically supposed to be in possession of his power. What, with all the policies and rules and regulations.

Disgusting.

It was such a damper on things, so he decided he'd try his own style of things. But then again, it always changed. He wasn't ever quite satisfied. And doubtfully, would ever be. But, ahhhh, the pleasures of such a long life. With an big ear and an open heart, he listened to the wishes of humanity. But the dull sucking void nearby was a surprise. Now, before you think of anything, he did notice her presence. But, the dragon knew not of a demon wanting wish this terribly. Well. This ought to be a party.

He strode up to the women, hair short, with darkened eyes and leaned over the bar. "Can I get a Cognac?" He called, watching as the bartender looked up to nod before returning to his duties. He did the same, turning his head to a 90 degree angle and sporting a grin. "Now, what's a charming thing like you doing in bar?" He said, tapping his fingers against the old table, efore moving to grab his drink and swirl it around in his glass. "You know...Alone". Maybe he wouldn't reveal himself, or her, quite just yet.

Green eyes that held little to reveal of her inner thoughts flicked up as a man strode over to her table, his words caused a slight smirk to dance up one side of her face "Charming? Now thats a compliment I haven't heard in a very long time" she said lightly whilst her eyes silently dissected him, figuring out who he was, what he was, using deduction and her intuition. Her right index finger gently moving around the rim of her glass, "I could say the same of you, surprising" her eyes finally looked away idly watching her finger move around the glass lip of her cup.

A quiet chuckle left her lips after a brief thought "I don't mind being alone, but more than one is always needed for a party wouldn't you say?" her piercing sharp gaze flicked back up to the mans dark eyes. This would prove to be interesting, if his own interests were alligned with hers they could have a mad caper of manipulating, torturing and creating a whole lot of despair. "Being bored is a sin after all..." she added taking a keen mouthful of the alcohol

He watched as her eyes glimmered, the green shielding itself from discovery, but he didn't want to pry. He wasn't in the mood. What with seeing the palace recently and all. Announcements, politics, facades, politics. The day to day job of a royal was not one of glamour. Just one of stress, thin smiles, arranged marriages, and the like. Nothing he wanted, and it would merely hold him back. Not that he didn't feel pity for that brother of his. But their father was a degenerate. They'd both seen his wild "adventures". Neither were interested, both were disgusted.

Her voice brought him him back to his reality. His eyes, barred by a pair of glasses, watched her as he sipped from his cup. Allowing the thick aroma of alcohol and pine to fill his senses, before smirking at her remark. "Well, it sounds as if the males coming your way aren't very kind." He said with a jovially laugh as he finally sat down on a bar stool. Sliding under the table with a little squeak. His ears pricked as she commented on his unusual appearance. "Hmm, depends on who you're comparing me to." He replied, possible referring to something, but he refused to elaborate. Always more fun that way.

His eyes glanced back at her nursed drink, her finger moving slowly over the rim. "A party? You'll need three, or it'll be the same old, same old. Haven't you ever heard of exponential growth?" He replied, throwing in a little sardonic, educated humor. But she seemed to be focused on other matters. A sigh drew itself from his body as he shifted to fold his hands in his lap. "Well, that was no fun. Always wanting to get to the point these things." He thought, attempting to swing his legs beneath the table, but failing foolishly.

Then she spoke again, clear excitement in those glazed orbs. "Idle hands are the hands of the devil after all." He said, wagging his own with a wry smile, the irony clear in his voice.

Lana found his remark about males amusing, her features informing him so, "well, most always want the same thing, it becomes rather boring for a girl" she shrugged tapping her own fingers against the scratched wooden surface, "Naturally, three is a nice number, but five is more favourable towards my idea of fun" her fingers continued to neatly and quietly drum out a relaxed beat. His attempt to swing his legs under the table wasn't missed although her features didn't reveal so, she often preferred to not let most of her true emotions show. The fingers came to a stop to flex, a habit that came with remembering hell, that place was never really far from her thoughts.

His last comment caused the amused face to slide into a smirk, "A very true saying" she commented the hand coming up, elbow resting on the table and her chin resting on her hand. She studied him thoughtfully, the smirk simmering down to a faint quirk of her lips, she went quiet, it was time for him to say what he had come here for.

OOC: Where in the knick-knack paddy-wack am I

The serpent found himself studying the longer nails of the spiritual execration before him. Watched as they traced years of life and survival encased in (a) vanity and questionable stickiness. A tree so simply degraded, but the easy grace with which she laved the attention it deserved— well, actually it didn't ease him in the least. He'd seen demons, their glinting eyes as they hovered over a victory, the shadows of horns as they ran they claws over pale flesh, innocent eyes surrounded by speckles of blood. It wasn't as simple as leaving the lights on in the restroom, but it was even simpler to suppress his inner sense of good and evil. To be blind to the world and the consequences. Immortality had always come with its perks, but why not test it's limits and ethics?

Where had he been going with this? Right.

He eased himself back into the dialogue, ears once again picking up the buzz of conversation surrounding him on all sides. "Well," He began, leaning back in the chair, hair falling over his eyes. Good hair products were hard to come by these days, too much sunlight, too little Big Sexy Hair. "Some say men all share one big brain." He replied, quirking the corner of his mouth. What a home wrecker he was! It was a good thing the demon was a natural single. Humans found it easiest to bond over what they could complain about. Perhaps creatures were not so different.

"Rather adventurous don't you think?" He said, unscrupulously drinking from his own sin. "A fivesome doesn't sound very hygienic to me." He added, a laugh bubbling in the back of his throat. He couldn't get drunk, but poking fun at a demon sounded just as stupidly intoxicating. "I'm proud to say what is true. At least what is true to these jaded eyes." He said, tapping the side of his cranium, before shifting to mirror the demon's form. He too quirked his lips, the taste of what he imagined the color burgundy to taste like. Too bad he didn't like wine, color painted his eyes and world; who would want to miss out on something as mystical as color?

"Anything you find priding yourself on, fräulein? Or is it merely misplaced malice? Surely you're different than the rest?" He said, and found himself biting his lip, raising a brow, and unable to suppress a smile.
